hp.stonji

The Austro-German twosome hp.stonji(Hans Platzgumer & Jens Döring) let their powerbooks float from sharply cut hightek breakbeats to sinister ambient soundscapes with an imminent sense for melodies and a constant demand for the unexpected. Their condensed offbeat electro tracks, always on the verge of collapsing, still remain calm and touching in their harsh strange beauty.

CHRA

CHRA

CHRA ist the soloproject of Christina Nemec. She likes to play and stretch low frequency sine waves, granulated through a small program called soundeffects, and manipulated via logic, ableton live, 4-track-recorder, sampler - like a roadmovie for your ears. Main topics: landscapes, territories, silence, unexpected things and history.

"networking on a feminist approach are my favorite goals. as i am a woman I would never call my music feminine. there are so many genders you can celebrate oder you are forced to suffer in repressive systems. we are far from equal rights and treatment for non-fits and women. so we still fight for being not stereotyped!!!!

music is a proper medium to work on topics. it's not only entertainment but it is! where would I be without blondie, joan jett, laurie anderson, lydia lunch, kim gordon, siouxsie sioux and many more? in a small village at the countryside? they helped me to leave home and to try out things and not having to look like a model. i started playing bassguitar - i still do. but in the meantime digitally and analogue produced sounds are my language. from abstract to electropop from ballade to heavy metal. low frequencies touching the body. you can not resist!"

Krach der Roboter

Deriving from a secret government project 'Krach der Roboter' was develloped in the early years of the third millenium.
After experiments with self-similarity based code structures, Krach refused to provide it's artificial intelligence to maintain authoritarian society structures and devoted himself relentlessly to music, cooking and feeding ducks.
